If you’re looking for a peaceful base to explore Lanzarote, Costa Teguise is the perfect choice. This area is quieter and more laid-back than some of the busier resorts, making it ideal for couples or families looking to unwind.
What We Loved
The Beaches: Costa Teguise boasts several beautiful beaches, including Playa de las Cucharas, which is perfect for sunbathing and water sports. The calm waters make it great for swimming, too.
The Atmosphere: The area has a relaxed, family-friendly vibe without feeling overcrowded. It’s a great spot if you want to escape the hustle and bustle of more touristy areas.
Dining Options: Costa Teguise has a good selection of restaurants and bars. We enjoyed some lovely evenings dining al fresco and soaking up the island’s chilled-out energy.
Transfer Time: It has never taken us more the 35 minutes to get to out hotels whether we use shared transport or private transfers, so this is always a major win for us!
What Could Be Improved
Nightlife: If you’re looking for a lively nightlife scene, Costa Teguise might not be the best fit. It’s more about relaxation than partying, which suited us just fine but might not be for everyone.

- Local Dining: Try the seafood at one of the beachfront restaurants—it’s fresh and delicious, try El Boccadito for some of the best steak and Tortilla you will ever find, head to La Tabla for the best tapas and look out for Number1 for some of the best cocktails!
