As an LGBT couple, our experience at the Concorde De Luxe in Antalya was nothing short of fantastic. From the moment we arrived, we were welcomed with warm hospitality, and our entire stay was marked by excellent service and attention to detail. This trip was a much-needed getaway, and it exceeded all our expectations.
Inclusivity & Welcoming Atmosphere
One of the standout features of the hotel was its commitment to inclusivity. As a lesbian-bisexual couple, we felt completely comfortable and well-treated throughout our stay, which made the experience all the more enjoyable. The staff was friendly, respectful, and always willing to ensure that we had everything we needed. It’s refreshing to stay at a place that truly embraces diversity, and Concorde De Luxe excelled in this regard.
The Rooms
The rooms at Concorde De Luxe are clean, spacious, and well-appointed. While they may not be overly luxurious, they’re comfortable and functional, providing everything you need for a pleasant stay. During Jasmine’s birthday trip, the hotel went above and beyond with daily bedroom decorations, which added a special touch to the celebrations. However, on Kasia’s birthday, the effort was noticeably lacking. Balloons we brought were removed by cleaners, and cards we put up were taken down multiple times. It felt like the magic of the first visit didn’t quite carry over, which was disappointing.
Drinks & Dining
The hotel offers a wide range of international drinks—and yes, that means proper Malibu, not some local substitute! This was a real treat, as it’s not always easy to find high-quality international beverages at some resorts. The bar staff knew how to mix up a cocktail, and we were always impressed with their service.
When it comes to dining, Concorde De Luxe truly excels. The hotel boasts multiple restaurants, providing a diverse array of dining options to satisfy every palate. There are several à la carte restaurants specializing in cuisine from around the world, including Italian, Asian, and Mediterranean dishes. We even discovered a hidden gem in their sushi restaurant, which had some of the freshest sushi we’ve ever tasted.
Additionally, the hotel’s main buffet restaurant offers an impressive variety of international and local dishes. Some must-try options include freshly grilled meats, sumptuous seafood, and a vast salad bar. Breakfasts were a highlight, with freshly baked pastries and an array of fresh fruit that made the start of each day delightful.
Entertainment & Activities
As for entertainment, the hotel offered nightly shows that were a real highlight. We were impressed by the quality of the performances, which were varied and entertaining. Our favourite was a stunning acrobatics show that left us both in awe. However, we did notice that the daytime entertainment could use a little more variety.
The activities throughout the day seemed to repeat, which might not appeal to guests who are looking for something new or exciting each day. That said, the hotel’s evening shows made up for it, providing a lively and fun atmosphere. We often ended our nights dancing to some great live music.
Pools & Beach
The beach area was another highlight of our stay. The private beach was well-maintained, with plenty of sun loungers and umbrellas available for guests. The crystal-clear waters of the Mediterranean Sea were perfect for a refreshing swim, and the hotel provided various water sports activities for those looking for a bit more excitement.
The pool area at Concorde De Luxe is equally impressive. There are multiple outdoor pools, including a large main pool, a relaxing adult-only pool, and a children’s pool equipped with fun water slides. We spent most of our days by the pool, soaking up the sun and enjoying the excellent poolside service.
The poolside service was excellent, with staff readily available to assist with drinks and snacks throughout the day. For those who prefer a quieter experience, there are plenty of secluded spots around the pools to relax and unwind.
Facilities & Amenities
Other notable facilities at the hotel include a well-equipped fitness centre, tennis courts, and a kids’ club. The fitness centre offers a range of modern equipment and hosts daily fitness classes, such as yoga and Pilates. The kids’ club is a fantastic feature for families, providing a range of supervised activities to keep children entertained, such as arts and crafts, games, and a mini-disco in the evenings.
The Verdict
Overall, we had a fantastic time at Concorde De Luxe. The resort provided a relaxing, inclusive environment with exceptional service, great food, and a memorable stay. While there were a few inconsistencies—particularly with the daytime entertainment and the difference in birthday celebrations—the positives far outweighed the negatives.
If you’re looking for a luxury getaway in Antalya that makes you feel at home no matter who you are, this place should definitely be on your list! We can’t wait to return for another unforgettable holiday.
